At Smile LA Downtown Modern Dentistry, Dr. Razmik Galustian brings his specialized expertise in periodontics to the forefront of our practice. With a focus on treating gum disease and restoring oral health, Dr. Razmik is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
Dr. Razmik began his dental education at Azad University in Iran, where he graduated in 2003. After relocating to the United States, he advanced his training through the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) advanced standing program. Eager to further specialize, Dr. Razmik attended Temple University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Oral Biology and completed his training in periodontics.
His extensive education and training make Dr. Razmik a leading expert in the treatment of periodontal diseases and the placement of dental implants. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the Misch Implant Institute, Dr. Razmik is recognized for his proficiency in both surgical and prosthetic aspects of implantology.
Dr. Razmik is passionate about staying at the cutting edge of periodontal care. He regularly participates in continuing education and advanced training to ensure that his patients receive the latest and most effective treatments available. From non-surgical treatments for gum disease to advanced implant procedures, Dr. Razmik is committed to delivering results that enhance both the health and aesthetics of his patients’ smiles.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Razmik enjoys sharing his knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals. He teaches part-time in the periodontology program at the USC School of Dentistry, where he mentors students and helps shape the future of periodontal care. His dedication to education reflects his belief in the importance of lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of his field.
When he’s not in the office or the classroom, Dr. Razmik enjoys spending quality time with his wife and exploring new places. An avid traveler, he believes in the importance of broadening one’s horizons. In his free time, Dr. Razmik also enjoys biking, hiking, playing tennis, and swimming. A passionate musician, he loves playing flamenco guitar, though his busy schedule often leaves little time for this beloved hobby.
