**Job Title:** UX Design Intern (Annual) **Department:** IT, Telecom & Internet **Country:** United States of America **State/Province:** Arkansas **City:** Lowell **Full/Part Time:** Part time **Job Summary:** Under supervision, this position is responsible for participating in the creation of web and mobile user interface designs and research artifacts by executing the activities of the J.B. Hunt User Experience Design (UXD) process and producing the deliverable of that process. This position also follows the User Experience Governance (UXG) process. This position is designed to give students the opportunity to extend their classroom learning and receive industry experience, while still completing their degree. The IT Internship at J.B. Hunt is different than most internships, in that it is a year-round internship. The position work includes 20 hours a week during the semester and can increase when classes are not in session. **Job Description:** Key Responsibilities: -Works with team to update the style on design artifacts (web/mobile) using Adobe suite . -Assisting with and participating in user research and applying knowledge from research activities such as card sorting, user feedback, user interviews, product analytics, and usability testing. -Assisting with the production of interaction and visual artifacts (like: wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes) by reviewing business requirements and implementing designs to help the business achieve their goals using J.B. Hunt UX practices and design system on small scale projects. -Collaborates with Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Developers by understanding business goals, implementing feedback, and understanding the technical feasibility of designs. -Creates visual assets (like: icons, logos, lockups) by keeping a consistent style and accurately representing the intended use. **Qualifications:** Preferred Qualification: Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled (or have just completed) a course of study in Graphic Design, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. **Compensation:** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
