Company Description Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences is hiring entry-level candidates for various roles in clinical trial research involving drugs, biologics, and medical devices. Immediate openings are available in Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Research. Our partnerships include university hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and recruiting agencies. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Data Analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for retrieving, managing, and visualizing large datasets, developing custom applications, and integrating laboratory equipment. Responsibilities Understanding of molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and genetics. Using bioinformatics tools like SnapGene, Generous, Generate Biologics, PipeBio, or benching for data analysis and management. Proficiency in MS Excel and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Expertise in data retrieval, wrangling, and managing large datasets from databases. Creating dynamic and interactive data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, or Spotfire. Requirements Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field preferred. B.S. in a science discipline or bioinformatics with 3+ years of experience, or M.S. with 2+ years of experience. Experience in data analysis, visualization, and bioinformatics application development. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work ability. Experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Streamlit. Experience in programming and integrating laboratory equipment for data capture. Knowledge of antibody or genetic medicine drug discovery and development processes. Additional Information All information will be kept confidential per EEO guidelines.
