About the Role
The Company is in need of a Vice President for Homeland Security Accounts with a focus on Microsoft. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management, customer engagement, business development, and client relationship management within the Homeland Security sector. This senior role requires a professional with a strong background in small business management of IT delivery teams, business development, and proposal development, particularly within the Homeland Security market. The candidate should have over 10 years of experience in these areas, with at least 5 years dedicated to managing and delivering Microsoft 365 implementation projects in the Federal IT market. Deep customer relationships within the Department of Homeland Security are essential, as is the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a Public Trust background investigation. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include overseeing the day-to-day management and service delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions, meeting with customers to ensure satisfaction, and leading sales pipeline development and capture activities. The role also involves shaping proposal criteria and developing winning proposals, utilizing knowledge of government IT contracting and federal customer buying behaviors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DHS mission requirements and IT procurement processes, and be adept at communication, leadership, and negotiation. Technical expertise in Microsoft 365, coupled with formal management education, is required, as is the ability to effectively communicate with senior managers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
