The incumbent will conduct assessments, lead treatment planning, and oversee psychological services for adult and adolescent patients. This position functions within a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, psychologists, nurses, case managers, and pharmacists. Additional duties include contributing to program development and supporting staff in maintaining a therapeutic, recovery-oriented treatment milieu. Qualified candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. with psychiatry board eligibility or certification and meet licensure requirements for practice in Alaska; experience in inpatient or forensic settings is preferred.

To view the general description and example of duties, please go to the following link: Minimum Qualifications Must be able to be credentialed by API Governing Body, possess a valid medical license, be Board-certified or Board-eligible, have graduated medical school from an accredited university and have graduated from a psychiatric residency.

At Time Of Interview Applicant Must Submit - List of three (3) professional references, including daytime phone numbers, two (2) of which are from a current or former supervisor.
