About the Unit

Welcome to the 6th floor, a vibrant 38-bed medical surgical/stroke nursing unit dedicated to caring for adult to geriatric patients. Here, our nurses manage the care of acute medical surgical patients with diverse diagnoses and needs. Through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach, we strive to provide excellent, individualized care for every patient.

Your Role

As a Staff RN, you will:

• Deliver holistic, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
• Work with a 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratio , supported by PCTs and ancillary departments.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient care.
• Engage in clinical research that contributes to medical advancements.

How You’ll Make a Positive Change

In this role, you will:

• Provide nursing care across the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates are welcome to apply!
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

Additional Qualifications:

• Advanced certification in your field of specialty and nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
