For more information on General Atlantic, please visit: Position Summary General Atlantic is actively seeking a highly skilled Office Manager/Receptionist who will collaborate with our staff to actively maintain consistent and seamless support of our San Francisco office. This will be a temporary to permanent position. Responsibilities Answer telephone calls and directs callers to appropriate department/associates Coordinate conference room reservations for front of house meeting rooms. Proactively review meeting calendars to address conflicts. Order catering and assist with the set up and removal of food and beverages as needed Monitor and reset all meeting rooms to ensure they are prepared for back-to-back meetings Initiate audio-visual meetings. Dial into Zoom meetings as needed. Meet and greet guests providing excellent hospitality and addressing their needs Reserve guest offices for visiting employees from other General Atlantic offices Coordinate daily office group lunch order Order and stock supplies for the pantry and copy rooms Report building issues to property management for prompt maintenance and repairs Manage facilities maintenance projects as needed with guidance from the Workplace Experience team Hours will be from 8:00 – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday in the office Qualifications 2+ years of reception experience strongly preferred Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to articulate and communicate with customers and management and staff Comfortable working in Outlook, Excel, Box, and Zoom systems Highly analytical coupled with strong intuition; able to think and react quickly Strong project management skills – time management, pattern recognition, prioritization and strong judgement are critical; ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality Strong attention to detail, exceptional follow through and consistently delivers results Ability to work independently and proactively in a high performing global organization. Highly collaborative and capable of working effectively cross functionally.
