Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an Instructional Designer II to work for our client in Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global e-commerce company. The Learning Experience Designer role will be responsible for building and program managing a foundational learning program that prepares individuals for technical careers for the global Data Center Community.
Pay: $46-$50/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Seattle, WA
Contract: 4 Months
Key job responsibilities
•Design, develop, and deploy training programs as part of a blended learning strategy
•Partner with cross-functional teams and educational programs to build out development experiences with a global mindset
•Solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
•Work with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and create engaging end user training
•Manage multiple curricula development projects simultaneously
•Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed
•Create reliable and valid learner evaluation tools to gauge knowledge and skill transfer
•Drive use of evaluation and performance data to improve learning content
•Work with global stakeholders to program manage technical training program
Basic qualifications
•BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional technology, educational technology, organizational development or 3+ years of relevant experience in instructional design
•3+ Years developing and executing strategies, development and delivery of creative and innovative training solutions
•3+ years of experience developing training in a variety of delivery modalities
•Experience building and program managing learning and development projects in an academic environment
Preferred qualifications
•Experience working as a consultant in a corporate or start up environment.
•Experience working with remote teams and an international audience
•Obsessed about the customer experience, high standards, and continually inspire others to do better for the customer
•Experience gathering, building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics to multiple organizational levels
•Experience creating training for high tech industry
