Job Overview:

Jaunty is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Field Marketing Representative to join our growing team. This on-the-go position is perfect for someone who thrives on face-to-face interaction, excels in time management, and is passionate about brand storytelling. You’ll be the frontline ambassador for Jaunty—educating dispensary teams, supporting in-store merchandising, driving brand engagement, and representing our products at trade shows, expos, and cannabis events.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable—someone who’s equally comfortable building retail relationships and managing field activations.

Location:

Field-based across the Hudson Valley region, with regular travel to counties including Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, and Columbia.

Reports To:

Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit licensed recreational dispensaries regularly to educate staff, manage product placement, and strengthen account relationships.
• Deliver engaging budtender training sessions to boost product understanding and brand loyalty.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality visual merchandising across all assigned accounts.
• Represent Jaunty at public-facing events such as trade shows, consumer expos, and cannabis community gatherings.
• Support sales and marketing campaigns through hands-on event execution and content capture (photos/videos) for social media use.
• Gather feedback, market intelligence, and in-store data to help shape future marketing initiatives.
• Maintain an organized road kit and educational materials for use at visits and activations.
• Prepare recaps and reports for all store visits, training, and events, including actionable insights and survey responses.
• Research upcoming cannabis events and stay informed on local market trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate with the sales team to support in-store displays, merchandising drops, and giveaways.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a field marketing, event marketing, brand ambassador, or promotional role.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
• Comfortable traveling extensively throughout the Hudson Valley region.
• Confident presenter with an eye for visual detail and brand styling.
• Basic understanding of cannabis products and willingness to learn NY-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and reporting tools.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior cannabis industry experience is a plus.
