JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Cyber SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
Responsibilities include managing the Army's CYBER program efforts, which include but are not limited to Defensive Cyber operations technologies and software. Experience in Army tactical units that employ Mission Command Transport Applications including Satellite Network Operations, Mission Command Network Applications, Mission Command Service Applications is required. Understanding tactics, techniques and procedures associated with Army command, control, and communications systems; and familiarity with Mission Command programs/capabilities is also required. Active Secret security clearance is mandatory.
Additional qualifications include completion of the How the Army Runs (HTAR) Course, RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS Course, RQM 1100 series / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management Course/Capabilities Development Course (CDC), RQM 3100 / 310: Advanced Concepts and Skills Course, CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives, RQM 2500 / CLR 250: Capabilities Based Assessments, and RQM 2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes.
