Beynon Sports Surfaces, Inc. is looking for a Mixer/Blender/Operator to work in our Manufacturing facility located in Hunt Valley, MD. This is a Full Time, non-exempt position to work in our Manufacturing Plant. Qualified candidate will work the 12pm-8pm shift (subject to change depending on needs) and overtime and weekend work is available. Our ideal candidate has....

1. Must be committed to working and operating safely and follow all plant and company safety and environmental rules and procedures, as well as wearing all required PPE

2. Ensure compliance to all ISO 9001 quality procedures and work instructions, to include creating and maintaining records as required.

3. Work well in a team environment as well as function independently

4. Communicate effectively with others to ensure production demands are obtained

5. Possesses a high level of attention to detail

6. Participate in all phases of production/warehousing as required

7. Proficient in organizing and operating process and test equipment

8. Produce products on time as prescribed by ISO standards and work tasks instructions to meet quality specifications

9. Available for required overtime hours as needed during peak production (Jun 1 - Oct 31)

10. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job to include lifting 55lbs bags repeatedly; climbing stairs, ladders, and tanks; filling and moving 55/275 gallon containers, turn valves and other physical activities as required

11. Assist in other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Competencies :

• High School Diploma
• Two years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment along with forklift experience a plus
• Consistent attendance (On time and at work as scheduled)
• Strong work ethic
• Must have reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

Convert raw materials to produce quality finished products per batch sheets while following all company ISO 9001 safety and environmental standards, policies and procedures. Some QC sampling and testing of finished products to verify its within specifications may be involved.
