Business Relationship Manager 

The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Business Relationship Manager. As a Business Relationship Manager, you will serve as part of the municipal sales team, focused on growing this key department within the credit union through prospecting new potential municipal members, making sales calls, portfolio management, and providing superior service to our municipal membership. You will serve our Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Coldwater and South Haven markets.

What you will do: 

• Achieving sales goals set for the position.
• Building and maintaining a well-balanced portfolio
• Tracking sales efforts with our internal Customer Relationship Management system
• Participating with municipal focused professional groups and treasurer’s associations.
• Conduct outbound phone calls for annual reviews, rate specials, and other opportunities.
• Attending municipal conferences, treasurers’ association meetings, and other prospecting activities
• Providing expertise, sales, setup, and support with cash management services including:
• Business Remote Deposit Capture
• Business Online Banking Controls
• Positive Pay
• ACH

What you'll bring to the table:

• 2-3 years of sales leadership and 1-3 years of prior banking experience.
• Proven history of goal attainment.
• Ability to foster and grow relationships with others.
• Professional appearance; builds rapports with members; enjoys working with people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening and public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of current technology. Able to easily navigate multiple software environments.
• Ability to make judgments in the best interest of the member and Consumers Credit Union.
• Must have working knowledge of business deposit products and cash management services.
• Must be self-driven.
• Vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
